Mislabeled Steelhead "Salmon" Food Poisoning
- I ate Costco Kirkland Signature Steelhead Fillet from Hazlet, NJ.
- I had nausea, vomiting, dizziness, chills, sweats, stomach pain after eating.
I suffered intense nausea, vomiting, dizziness, chills, cold sweats, and stomach pain after cooking and eating a quarter potion of the Costco's Kirkland Signature Steelhead Fillet I purchased in Hazlet, New Jersey. The product looked like it had a healthy red color, but had a slimier than normal texture.
I cooked it in a pan until the temperature reached 170 degrees.
I ate the fish at 6pm, and by 8:30 I was suddenly dizzy and nauseous. My symptoms continued throughout the night.
Ironically, I purchased the Steelhead instead of the adjacent Atlantic Salmon because every Atlantic Salmon package had BLACK BRUISE marks on each fillet piece. Truthfully, it is impossible to distinguish the Steelhead from the Salmon, and until researching about the fish, I assumed I had bought salmon.

Toilet paper Mold.
- Mold was on toilet paper with gray speck and fluffy white.
- I will not buy this brand again after keeping the roll for evidence.
So my mother likes to shop at coscos, she usually buys the big packages of toilet paper and paper rolls. I noticed the first time I used it this gray speck and i would see it alot, wasnt sure what it was so Ignored it.
Yesterday, saturday I used the toilet and I noticed again, as I looked closely there was this fluffy white stuff on it, tried touching it with my finger and it felt soft, it wasnt attached to the paper. As I did my examination, I made my analysis that it was mold on my toilet paper. Didnt know that toilet paper had an expiration date as well, I kept the roll for further evidence so my mother can take it back to coscos. Becareful, with ANY brand, not sure what happened to the paper that it inquired mold on it.
But it was pretty visible for me to see it. Will not be buying from this brand again.

I have Kirkland Signature Hearing Aids, and I am having issues pairing them to their own app, as well as pairing them to a very expensive two way radio (walkie-talkie) that my company purchased for me to accommodate my hearing loss, as they can be paired via bluetooth. So I go to request support from the company, and there's not a real-time chat that is available for support, which I felt was odd given purpose of the product.
So I just go ahead and fill out a general request for support form that is your usual "fill this out and you may get a response in a week or so, and it may be helpful, or it may be an ongoing e-mail conversation that takes two months before you may possible get any resolve. Anyway. It is what it is. So I filled it out on my phone and submitted it, and it wouldn't submit!
I kept getting errors. Fortunately, I was able to hit the back button and the information was still there. Thought maybe it was a glitch or bad service so I tried again...Nope. Did this several times.
Kept getting errors. Soooo, I figure it's me..my phone...Has to be, right? I use a desktop computer and Guess What. Link Is Broken.
And that's the only way to contact them. I looked all over trying to find out how I could contact Kirkland Signature and their hearing aid department, and it's a ghost town. Then I found this site and was able to send an e-mail that will hopefully find its way to someone that can help me. I'm not "pissed".
I feel betrayed. How does a company do that to people who have what I definitely consider to be a disability?

- Order placed 11/29 around 6 pm EST; shipped to KY instead of FL.
- Delivery went to KY 3 days after order; no one home and poor service.
Placed order for coffee table 11/29:approx 6:00 pm est. Realized immediately they had wrong shipping address as we are in FL for the winter and they are shipping to the billing address in KY.
Immediately tried to reach customer service to correct to find they are only open 8:00 am-5:00 pm Mon-Fri. Tried first thing 11/30. Recording saying high column leave a call back number. Two hrs later no call back.
Finally reached customer service only to be told they couldnt change shipping address and too late to cancel and told it would be 5-6 days for a call back! Table delivered to KY on Saturday 3 days after order. Order said 5-7 days. I think they expedited the delivery.
No one home at KY address. Table left outside and we wont return until April. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with.
I would give zero star is that was an option. Wont be ordering from again.

- I switched to Fry's brand because of the lid issue.
I use almond milk in my smoothies every morning and I use the Kirkland almond milk unsweetened in the square boxes. Never had any trouble like this before but I got a case each one every single milk container is lid will not come off unless I use pliers, then it destroys the lid so I cant recap it so its its in my refrigerator without a cap I finally got tired of it and just went and bought Frys a brand.
